Dr. Vivek Mohindra (BAMS, MBA) is a life coach and teacher of Yoga Philosophy and Yoga Psychology in India and Europe. For more than 30 years, Dr. Mohindra has been coaching, teaching, and guiding students around the world combining principles of Yoga philosophy, Ayurvedic psychology, and the wisdom of Eastern philosophy.

He is a well-rounded Doctor in Ayurveda and knowledgeable exponent of Yoga philosophy and Ayurvedic Medicine. He uses an integral approach taking into consideration all aspects of an individual: physical, emotional, mental and social.
Dr. Mohindra obtained a Masters in Human Resources Management from Satyam Institute of Management in Jalandhar, India. He holds a Bachelors in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Guru Nanak Dev University. He obtained a post graduate Diploma in Panchakarma therapy from Dayanand Ayurvedic College in Jalandhar, India.

Dr. Mohindra is the director of several Ayurvedic health clinics in India where he offers health and wellness consultations, life coaching sessions, courses, and classes. He teaches and oversees several courses at PDI Ayurvedic Health Resorts in India and in The Hague, Netherlands.
Ayurveda-— India’s system of alternative medicine-— has a long and rich tradition in India, having been taught in the universities of Takshila and Nalanda in ancient times. After India's independence in 1947, Ayurveda had a new revival, gaining more and more popularity in America and Europe where is being used as an alternative medicine modality for disease prevention, health maintenance, healing, and health recovery management.

YOGA PSYCHOLOGY

Dr. Mohindra specializes in Yoga psychology and Ayurvedic Psychology, two important branches of Yoga that are concerned with the psychological mechanisms that affect emotions and behaviors and how to manage them in a positive manner.
​
The first Psychology manual that was ever written— The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali —are a compendium of wisdom teachings on the mind, thoughts, emotions, and behavior including instructions on how to understand and manage the mind so it works for you, not against you.
