I'm a personal development coach and certified yoga instructor (RYT500) through Yoga Alliance with extensive training in prevention issues, life skills, self-development, mindfulness, and more recently psychotherapy and counseling. I learned my yoga and self-improvement methods from years of studying personal development and through a consistent yoga and meditation practice.

Over the course of seven years, I have deepened my yoga and meditation practices exploring Hatha yoga under international yoga instructor Chidanandi Sheri Cherokee; Tibetan yoga and meditation with senior teacher Luis Vilela at Tashi Delek Yoga Center in Spain; Hatha yoga and meditation under Spiritual Master Dr. Acharya Shree Yogeesh founder of Siddhayatan Spiritual Retreat; Vipassana meditation with Amber Bemak; and Buddhist meditation with resident teachers Gen Kelsang Menla and Gen-la Kelsang Jampa at Kadampa Meditation Center under the leadership of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. 

Finding yoga and great yogic mentors has propelled my professional growth and spiritual path into a whole new direction. I want to bring to you the knowledge and skills that I have learned from internationally-renowned teachers to help you transform yourself and discover your life purpose.  


​Aside from my yoga practice, for more than 10 years I have been working with large international corporations on international and corporate transactions and issues of domestic violence and human trafficking. For four years I served as Career Adviser to international attorneys at a local law school. This combined, enriching, and diverse work experience has taught me that across cultures and socio-economic status people want the same things: consistent happiness, meaningful relationships, and finding their life purpose.

We use a science-based approach in yoga teachings and life coaching theories, derived from the latest scientific and academic research available. Our holistic approach to personal development is backed up by years of research of the potential physical and mental health benefits of yoga and mindfulness-based practices.

Personal Development and Well-Being

Well-being integrates mental and physical health resulting in a more holistic approach to disease prevention and health promotion, including job, family, and economically-related benefits. Well-being is a valid population outcome measure, meaningful to public health and people in general. Advances in psychology and neuroscience suggest that well-being can be measured with some degree of accuracy.

Our
personal development and life skills coaching methods are goal-oriented with a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. Our goal is to identify and change patterns of thinking or behavior that are behind people's difficulties, and so change the way they feel.  

The Multiple Benefits of Meditation

Recent university studies of brain scans of Buddhist monks in meditation found that meditation changes the structure and function of the brain; it changes how the brain looks as well as how it operates. The more experienced the meditator, the more quickly the brain recovers from stress. 

Overcoming life's challenges and set-backs has everything to do with tuning into the mind, the body, and the present moment and this can be achieved through the steady practice of meditation.

Scientific research shows that a consistent yoga practice can help prevent diseases and overcome multiple ailments including anxiety, stress, addiction, bad-habits, insomnia, and more. 

Specific yoga practices, like
mindfulness-based stress relief, can be incorporated into life coaching methods to help people become more aware of certain thought patterns and behaviors that are at the source of many problems.

We take an integrated approach to yoga, looking at the entire being: body, mind and consciousness.  This requires an examination of the person's whole life integrating several types of guidance. An integrative yoga practice incorporates the various branches of yoga into a comprehensive lifestyle system with the goal of promoting development of every aspect of the individual.

We believe that with a consistent yoga practice— which includes the proper mindset, nutrition, and physical exercise—  yoga can be the great catalyst to crucial changes in our life that can help overcome old habits, addictions, negative thoughts, low self-esteem, stress, anxiety, and some depression.

THE CAUSES OF SUFFERING

In yoga and life coaching we train the mind to understand the causes of suffering and how to end such suffering, a process that can rebuild a person's self-concept, self-esteem, strength, and focus, preventing further progression of a disease.
